V R L Poultry Farm

Out here in Padoli, which is part of Tal- Borkheda, things are usually quiet. We run V R L Poultry Farm. It’s basically just us and the birds. Most days start way before the sun is even up because the chickens don't wait for anyone. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. It’s not a big fancy operation, just a regular farm. You get used to the noise and the feathers after a few years. Living and working at the post in Padoli means we are always around if something goes wrong with the sheds. The work is dirty and physically tiring, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the feed arrives late or the weather gets too hot for the birds, and those are the stressful times. My boots are always covered in mud or dust depending on the season. We just keep our heads down and manage the flock day by day. It’s a lot of manual labor, cleaning out the areas and making sure everyone is fed. There isn't much else to say about us. We are just local people doing poultry work in our village. It's how we make our living and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
