Ice Computers

Ice Computers is located at number 03 in Vaibhav Nagar, right off Hingna Road in the Wanadongri area. Wanadongri is a bit on the outskirts of the main city, but it’s a busy spot with all the colleges nearby. Our shop is a straightforward computer center. We have a row of desks against the walls where the monitors are set up. The wires are a bit of a mess under the tables, even though I try to keep them tied together. It’s not a high-tech lab with glass floors; it’s just a room with some PCs and stools for people to sit on. The air conditioner is old and makes a humming sound, but it keeps the machines from overheating in the Nagpur sun. I spend a lot of my time fixing keyboards or helping someone figure out a software issue. We have a small counter at the front where I sit. People from Vaibhav Nagar come in for all sorts of things, not just for classes. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because a lot of dirt gets tracked in from the street. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy storefront. It’s just a local computer spot where we help people learn the basics or get their work done. The area is quite lively in the evenings when the local shops open up. It’s a simple life running a small place like this.
