Raghukul Vidya Peeth

Gonda is the kind of place where things move at their own speed. Our school, Raghukul Vidya Peeth, is situated right in the middle of it. The address is simple, but anyone around here can point you toward us. We have a decent-sized gate and a yard where the kids can run around a bit before the first bell. It’s not a fancy institution with high-tech gadgets in every corner. We mostly rely on good old-fashioned teaching and a lot of patience. The mornings are always a bit of a scramble, making sure the registers are signed and the classrooms are swept out. Dust is a constant battle here, as anyone living in this part of the state will tell you. We have teachers who have been with us for years, and they’ve seen whole families grow up through these classrooms. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. The desks are a bit worn, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the atmosphere is honest. During the rainy season, things get a bit damp and slow, but we still show up and get to work. It’s a local place for local people, and we don’t try to be anything else. We just focus on the basic stuff like reading, writing, and making sure the kids behave themselves.
