Out here in Gaura Chawki, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Hira Public School is situated right in this part of Gonda, and it’s a central part of our daily lives. We’ve got the classrooms set up simply. Nothing too extravagant, just desks, boards, and the usual school supplies. The walk to the school is dusty during the dry months, and we spend a lot of time sweeping out the hallways. It’s a constant battle with the dirt. The kids come from all over the nearby area. Some walk, some come on cycles. We know most of the parents by name because they live just down the road. If a student is missing, someone usually knows why before we even call. That’s the good thing about being in a place like 271312. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. The money goes into keeping the roof in good shape and buying books. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day. You can hear the kids all the way down the street. We just try to provide a steady environment where they can sit down and focus on their books. It's a practical setup. We’ve had some of the same chairs for a long time, but they still work fine for what we need. It's a community effort to keep everything running, and we just show up every morning to do our part for the village. We aren't doing anything fancy.
