Ll Android Servicesrooting is based over at Techno World in Ashok Nagar. We are right near the 3 Lions landmark, which most people know around here. It’s a small spot, mostly just a counter and some computers. There are cables everywhere, and half the time we are looking for a specific charger that went missing. We work on phones all day, mostly fixing software or rooting them for people who want more control over their devices. It’s not a big shiny store like you see in the malls. We have posters on the walls that are peeling a bit at the corners. People come in with broken screens or phones that won't turn on. Sometimes the fixes are easy and sometimes we are scratching our heads for hours. We don't wear uniforms here. It’s just us in our regular clothes. The air in Ashok Nagar is always full of city sounds, and we usually have the radio playing in the background. We have a few stools for customers to sit on while they wait, but they are a bit wobbly. We aren't trying to be the biggest tech company. We just like messing with gadgets and helping people get their phones working again. It’s a busy little shop and we stay until late most nights. If the lights are on, we are usually inside working on a motherboard or something small. We've seen every kind of broken phone you can imagine.
