We are located right on the Bye-Pass Road in the southern part of Malayam Palayam. If you know the Thalava Palayam post office area in Karur, you know where we are. It is a busy spot with trucks and cars going by all day long. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much. Inside, it is just a few of us working on whatever needs doing that day. We have been here for a while now and most of the locals recognize us. It gets quite hot in this part of Tamilnadu, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the shop. We usually keep the fans running full speed. There is a lot of dust from the road, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning the shelves and the floor. It is just a regular workplace where we try to get through the daily tasks without too much fuss. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It’s mostly just practical space for work. Sometimes the neighbors pop in for a quick chat or to ask for directions since we are right on the main road. Karur is a hardworking town and we fit right in with that. We don't really do much besides the work itself and making sure things are in order. It’s not a glamorous life but it’s what we do here in this corner of the district.
