Computer Point

We started Computer Point here in Hatsingimari because there wasn't much around for folks who needed help with their machines. Being right near Mahamaya Temple makes it easy for people to find us. We spend most of our mornings just opening up the shutters and dusting off the desks. The humidity around here can be tough on the electronics, so we try to keep things as cool as we can inside. Some days it’s just one person after another coming in with a laptop that won't start or a printer that's jammed up again. We handle those things one by one. It’s not a huge place, just a few counters and some chairs for people to wait on while we look at their stuff. Sometimes we run out of certain parts and have to wait for the next delivery to come in from the bigger towns. People around Mahamaya Nagar know us by now, and we’ve gotten used to the routine of the neighborhood. It gets busy during the festival times when the temple has a lot of visitors, so traffic right outside our door can get pretty backed up. We usually have a radio playing in the corner just to keep some noise going while we work on circuit boards or type out documents for customers. It is what it is, just a local spot where you can get your tech issues looked at without a lot of fuss. We've been here a while now and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint.
