Designation

Designation is our name, and we are located in Chorao, Goa. If you've ever been to Chorao, you know you have to take the ferry to get across to us. It’s an island, and that changes the way you think about time and work. We don't have a big fancy street address because everyone on the island knows where everyone else is anyway. Chorao is a place of birds and trees and old houses, and we are just tucked in there somewhere. Being called Designation might sound a bit formal, but we are anything but that. We are just a group of people working on this island, away from the noise of Panjim or the crowds at the beach. Some days the ferry is slow, and some days it's quick, and that’s how our life goes. We like the quiet here. It lets us focus on what we are doing without too much distraction. Most people who come to Chorao are looking for the bird sanctuary, but we are here for the long haul, day in and day out. It’s a small community, and we are glad to be a part of it. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to keep things running smoothly from our spot in Chorao. It’s a simple life on the island, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
