If you are looking for us, we are right by the Thaly Saw Mill in Verem. The address is 669, Volant Verem Porvorim, but people usually just look for the mill and find us next door. Muttu Naik & Sons is a family thing, passed down through the years. It is not always easy running a business with family, but we make it work. We have been in this spot for a long time, watching Porvorim change and grow. There used to be way more trees and fewer cars, but now it’s getting quite busy around here. Our yard is usually full of materials and the sound of the saw mill next door is something we’ve just gotten used to over time. We get a lot of locals who come in because they knew my father or my grandfather. We don’t have a big sales team or anything. It is usually just one of us sitting at the desk or helping out in the yard. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have three trucks arriving at once, but we figure it out. The humidity here in Verem can be a real pain for the paperwork and the materials, but we just deal with it. It’s a good spot to be, close enough to the main parts of town but still has that local feel. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
