Modern Aluminium

We are located in Bicholim, right near the Government Health Center. It is a good spot for a business like ours because everyone in the tehsil knows where the clinic is, so they never really get lost when they are trying to find our shop. We do all sorts of aluminium work here. Mostly it is doors, sliding windows for houses, and sometimes frames for small offices in the area. It is just a small team of us working here. We spend most of the day surrounded by metal shavings and the loud sound of the saw cutting through the profiles. It is noisy, but that is just how the job goes. We do not have a marketing department or anything like that. People just hear about us from their neighbors or walk in when they are heading to the health center for an appointment. We try to keep a decent stock of materials so people do not have to wait too long for their orders to be finished. Sometimes the heavy rain here in Goa makes it hard to transport the finished windows, so we have to plan our deliveries around the weather. We have been in this part of the tehsil for a good bit of time now. We know most of the faces that walk by the shop every day. It is not a complicated business. You give us the sizes you need, we cut the aluminium, and we put it all together. We handle the installation ourselves too, usually riding out on the bike or using the small van. It is steady work.
