I’m sitting here at No. 16 Techno Park on Chogm Road in Alto- Porvorim and thinking about how we started Merit Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. It is just a regular day in Porvorim. Most people know this area for the traffic or the shops, but we are tucked away in the park. We have been here for a while now. It isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It is just where we come to work every morning. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We deal with pharmaceutical stuff, which keeps us pretty busy most weeks. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the road layout, but we manage. People often ask what it’s like working at Merit Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. and I just tell them it is steady work. We know the neighbors around Chogm Road pretty well by now. It’s a decent spot for a business. We don't really have a big sign out front, so you have to look for the number sixteen. If you pass the main turnoff, you’ve gone too far. We spend our time checking orders and making sure the paperwork is right. It’s nothing glamorous, just a small team of us doing what needs to get done. We like the location in Alto- Porvorim because it is easy enough for the staff to get to. That is basically us. Just a bunch of people working.
