Down on Upper Bazar Road, you’ll find us at Shop No.3 in Annapurna Niwas. It’s a busy area, especially being so close to Nakteshwar Hall. At Manoj Art'S And Pasting View, we spend our time doing exactly what the name suggests. There’s a lot of cutting, aligning, and sticking involved in our daily routine. The shop is tucked away a bit, but once you step inside, you’ll see we have paper and materials everywhere. It’s a small place, so things can get messy fast when we are in the middle of a big job. We don’t mind the clutter though, as long as the work gets done correctly. The street outside is always full of people going to the hall or doing their shopping, so there’s a lot of energy around. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy, but we just keep our heads down. We’ve been here a while and know the other shopkeepers on the road quite well. Most mornings start with a quick sweep and then we check what needs to be pasted or designed for the day. It’s a manual job and our hands are usually stained with something or other by lunchtime. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big sign outside, just the shop number and our equipment. It’s a honest way to spend the day, working on different art projects that people bring in from around the neighborhood. We just take things one piece at a time.
