Ganesh Foods

Ganesh Foods is out in Taveda Village. We are specifically at Survey No.172/1, which is quite close to the Haripara Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town, but it’s a lot more peaceful out here than in the city center. We handle different kinds of food products. It's a very basic setup, nothing like those giant factories you see in the industrial parks. We have a simple shed where we store things and a small area where we do our processing. The air is much better here than in the city, which is a nice perk of the job. We hire local people from the village mostly, so everyone knows each other. It’s a small, tight-knit group. We don’t have a website or any of those modern marketing tools. We just rely on people knowing who we are by word of mouth. The road to Haripara is usually okay, but it can get quite muddy when the rains come. We spend our mornings getting the stock ready for delivery. It’s a lot of physical work and lifting, but we don't mind it. It keeps us busy and active. We don’t use any big, complicated machines, just some basic tools that get the job done. People come by to pick up their orders directly sometimes, and we like it that way because we get to have a chat. It’s a slow-paced life, but the work is steady and the days go by quickly.
