Dilip Gums

Located over at Amardeep in Vadal, our place is usually pretty busy from the moment we open the doors. We deal with gums and it’s a bit of a sticky business if you aren't careful. The air always has a bit of a dusty smell to it because of how we process everything. Dilip and the rest of the crew have been working together for a long time now so we don't really need to say much to get the job done. We just show up and start the machines. Sometimes the power goes out in Vadal and we have to just sit around and wait for it to come back on, which is just how it goes around here. We have some old desks in the back where we keep track of the stock. It’s not very modern but it works for what we do. People from the area stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask about what we’re processing that week. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside which is nice. We spend most of our time making sure the bags are filled right and stacked properly so they don’t fall over. It’s a lot of physical work and by the end of the day everyone is pretty tired. We shut the gates around six and go home to get ready to do it all again tomorrow.
