V.M. Medical Center

You will find V.M. Medical Center right on Sankra Road in Dadon. We are located right opposite the Government Hospital, which means there are always a lot of people around this area of Aligarh. It’s a very busy stretch of road with tractors and motorbikes going by all the time. Being near the big hospital means we see a lot of folks who maybe didn’t want to wait in the long lines over there. Our center is quite modest. We have the basic things you would expect. The building is a bit old, and sometimes the paint peels a little, but we keep the inside tidy. There is always a lot of noise from the street, and you can hear the horns honking all day long. My cousin helps me out with the daily tasks. We spend most of our day talking to people from the surrounding villages who travel into Dadon for their needs. It’s a very practical sort of place. We don’t have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum away while we work. In the winter, it gets quite cold here, so we all wrap up in shawls. We’ve become a bit of a landmark for people looking for the hospital since we are right across the way. It’s a simple life, and we are just glad to be a part of the community here in this part of Aligarh. We see new faces every single day and just keep things moving.
