Verma Group

Our place is down in Gali No-9, over in Vidhya Vihar off Sihani Road. It’s one of those busy streets where you have to watch where you step because of the scooters zooming by. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it’s a practical space where we manage everything for the Verma Group. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too focused on the paperwork and the deliveries to bother. People drop by all the time asking for directions or just saying hello because they know we’ve been here forever. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We handle various bits of business from this one location. It’s a family thing, really. My brother takes care of the calls, and I mostly look at the logistics. It gets pretty dusty since the road is always being worked on, but that’s just life in this part of town. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the address. Everyone knows where Gali No-9 is anyway. It’s a noisy, crowded, but honest way to spend the day. We just keep our heads down and get the work done before heading home and starting again the next morning.
