Our office is over in Sahibabad at B1/44. It’s tucked away in Ug-2 of the Dlf Dilshad Extn.-Ii area. If you’ve ever been to Gzb, you know how busy the roads can get around here. Most of us get here pretty early to avoid the worst of the traffic. The building is one of those standard ones where the elevators are sometimes a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs to the upper ground floor. Tech Mahindra Ltd. is a big name, but our little corner here feels more like a small neighborhood workspace. There are rows of desks and a lot of computers that hum all day long. We have a small pantry where the coffee is usually too strong, but it keeps us awake during the long afternoons. The walls are a plain off-white and have some marks from where people have bumped their chairs. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking on headsets. Sometimes we all go out to the local tea stall nearby just to get some fresh air and a break from the AC. The area around Dilshad Extension has a lot of small shops, so there’s always something going on outside the window. We just do our work, handle the projects, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a regular office life with its own little routines and quirks that you only notice if you spend ten hours a day here.
