My name is Ajay and I started Swastik Art here in Vasundra at 17A/403 quite a few years ago. It is just a small spot. Mostly we handle local art requests and basic framing for the people living nearby. Folks often stop by just to see what we have hanging on the walls. It isn't one of those fancy galleries you see in the big cities. We spend most of our days working on different canvases or helping someone find a frame that fits an old family photo. Vasundra is a good place to be, though it gets a bit noisy during the day. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty in the shop when we are cutting wood for the frames, but that is just how it goes with this kind of work. I have always liked making things with my own hands. If you walk past building 403, you might see us through the front window working away. It is not a big team here, just a couple of us doing the actual labor. We use materials from around here when we can get them. Some people want very traditional styles and others want something a bit more modern. We try to keep up with what is happening but we don't follow every single trend. It is more about what looks right on a person's wall. We don't have a big website. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they live nearby. If you need something framed or want to look at some local art, you can find us easily enough. We keep regular hours but sometimes we stay late if a project needs finishing. It is honest work and we like being part of the neighborhood.
