We are based out of the Surya Kiran building, which is Plot No 5 in Block Q over in Sharda Nagar. It’s a sturdy building and we’ve taken up our space here to run Svml Ltd. The area of Sharda Nagar is always evolving, but our block stays relatively consistent. We have a few rooms where we manage all the different parts of the company. It’s not just one thing we do; there are always different projects on the go. Some days we are buried under paperwork for hours, and other days we are out and about meeting people. The light in the office is actually quite good in the mornings, which helps us get a start on things. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform or anything like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We’ve had the same furniture for years and it’s a bit worn out in places, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea while we argue about the best way to handle a new job. Sharda Nagar is a busy place to be, and we feel like we fit right in with the other shops and offices around here. We just want to get through our list of tasks and make sure everything is done right before we head home. It’s a regular job for regular people.
