Sunrise Industires

Down here at Makanpur 4A, we run Sunrise Industires. It’s more of a workspace than a shop you’d just walk into to browse. We deal with parts and materials, so there is always a bit of a metallic smell in the air. The floor is concrete and has some stains from oil and years of work. We have a few machines that make a lot of noise when they’re running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we get the job done. The walls are painted a dull color and we have calendars from three years ago still hanging up because nobody bothered to take them down. We have a small desk where we keep the ledgers and the pens that always seem to run out of ink. Sometimes deliveries come in late and we have to stay past dark to get everything unloaded. The street outside is narrow, so big trucks have a hard time turning around. We often have to go out and help guide them so they don't hit the wall. It’s hard work and our hands are usually dirty by noon. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address 4A on the door. People who need us usually know where we are. It’s just how we’ve always operated, focus on the work and let the rest handle itself. It is a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a big metal fan.
