Our office is actually in an apartment, specifically E 703 in Vijaya Apartment over in Ahinsa Khand 2, Indirapuram. Working out of a residential building like this gives Sukrut Solutions Private Limited a bit of a different feel. It’s quiet most of the time, except for the sounds of the elevators or people in the hallway. We have turned a few of the rooms into workspaces with desks and extra power strips. The view from the seventh floor is mostly of other buildings and the busy streets of Ghaziabad below. We don’t have a big lobby or a sign on the street. You have to go through the main gate and talk to the security guard to find us. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, and we often work in our comfortable clothes. We don’t follow a strict corporate handbook. Instead, we just focus on getting our technical tasks done and helping each other out when someone gets stuck. We have a small kitchen where we make tea or heat up our tiffins. It’s a very human way to work, without all the stress of a cold, glass office building. We’ve been here for a while and the routine suits us. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a short trip to get to the desk. We just do our work, keep our heads down, and enjoy the relative peace of being up on the seventh floor.
