Sri Jsb Lighting Co. is found at 3, Gokul Pura. We are on Ramte Ram Road, which is pretty narrow and gets congested easily with all the scooters. The Hanuman Temple is right nearby, so we hear the chanting and the bells throughout the day when they have prayers. It’s a nice background noise to have while we are sitting at our desks working. Our space is older and has that specific smell of old buildings and some cardboard dust. We have metal shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling filled with different lighting fixtures and bulbs. Most of the time, it’s just two or three of us here handling everything from answering the phone to packing the boxes. It’s not a high-tech operation by any means. We use old notebooks for a lot of our tracking because it’s just easier than using the computer for every little thing. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hi or ask for directions to the temple. It feels like a real community spot rather than a cold office. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just sell lights and try to stay on top of the bills each month. Ramte Ram Road can be a real headache when the trucks are trying to unload, but that’s just life in this part of town. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know us.
