Rangoli Paint Industries

We are located on Sihani Road, right in the Gl Compound. If you are looking for our place, we are directly opposite the Accurate Transformer building, which is a big landmark around here. Rangoli Paint Industries is a place where we actually mix and prepare the paints from scratch, so the air always smells a bit like chemicals and fresh pigments. The compound is a proper industrial spot, so there are always trucks and workers moving around at all hours. It’s not the cleanest job in the world—you’re bound to get a few splashes of color on your boots or trousers by the end of the shift—but it’s what we’ve been doing for years. We spend our time managing the big vats and making sure the colors come out exactly the way they are supposed to for the customers. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy buckets and checking the consistency of every batch we make. We don't have any fancy marketing slogans or a shiny storefront to show off. We just produce the paint and sell it to the people who need it for their houses or their own small businesses. The Sihani Road area is always humming with activity, which keeps us on our toes and helps the day go by faster. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time and have built up a solid routine that works for us. It’s just a small team of us making sure the production stays on track.
