Rely Paints Pvt. Ltd. is located out on Meerut Road in Morta, right at Plot No. 6, 7, and 8 on Khasra No. 1323. It’s a pretty big spot because we need the space for all the drums and mixing equipment. Usually, the yard is full of trucks coming in or going out, and there is always that smell of wet paint and chemicals in the air. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the machines are running. We spend our time checking batches and making sure the colors look like they are supposed to. Some days are just about moving heavy tins from one side of the floor to the other. We’ve been here for a while and the walls of the office probably need a new coat themselves, which is funny considering what we do. The team here is mostly guys who have been doing this for years. We don’t do a lot of talking during the shift because it’s loud. When we take a break, we sit outside near the gate. Morta is a busy area, so there is always traffic on Meerut Road. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s honest work, even if we go home with paint on our boots every single day. That’s just part of the life here at the factory. We don't worry about being fancy, we just mix the paint.
