Shivani Chaudary Provisional Store

I have been running this provisional store in Chipyana village for quite some time now. We are located right by the railway fatak here in Ghaziabad. If you live around here, you know how it gets when the train is coming and the gate stays down for a while. People often stop their bikes and come into the shop to wait it out. They might pick up some dal, rice, or maybe a pack of biscuits for their kids. It is not a very big shop, just a small space filled with stuff that people need for their kitchens every single day. I try to keep the shelves full, but sometimes things run out before the next truck arrives. That is just how it is. The place gets a bit dusty with the trains passing and the road traffic, but I try to keep it as clean as I can. It is just me and sometimes a family member helping out. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights to attract people. The name is on a simple board outside. Most of our customers are neighbors who have been living in the village for years. They come in for a chat as much as they do for shopping. It is a simple life and a simple business. We open up early and close once it gets dark. There isn't much more to it than that. Just a local spot to get your groceries.
