Shivam Bakens Store

Shivam Bakens Store is located in Shalimar Garden, Sahibabad. Our address is B-23. We are mostly about bread, rusks, and the kind of snacks you have with tea. The smell of fresh supplies coming in is the best part of the day. It’s a small shop and we have glass cases where we keep the biscuits and cakes. We aren't a big fancy bakery with a cafe. It’s more of a place where you stop by to pick up something for breakfast or for the kids' lunchboxes. The shelves are often crowded with different packets of cookies and namkeen. Sometimes we run out of the popular bread early, and then we have to wait for the next delivery. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean, though people bring in a lot of dirt from the street. Ghaziabad is a crowded city and Shalimar Garden is no different. There’s always someone coming in for a quick packet of chips or a bottle of cold drink. We have a small fridge in the corner for milk and curd. It’s a busy little spot. We don't have many people working here, just a few of us. We manage the stock and the cash ourselves. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any big plans, just keeping the shop running and serving the people who live around B-23. We are here every day except for some holidays.
