Shiv Darshan Cargo Mover

Our spot is at number 37 on Chatta Street, right near the chowk in Ashok Nagar. It’s a noisy corner, especially in the mornings when the market wakes up. Shiv Darshan Cargo Mover has been here since the days when the streets were a bit quieter. Now, there’s always a motorbike or a cart passing by. The office is small, just enough for two people to sit and some space for files. We keep our cargo tools in the back. Working in the chowk means you see everyone who passes through. We know the neighbors well. My father started this, and now we just keep the wheels turning. Moving cargo is a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the ropes are tight. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers who are stuck in traffic. Sometimes we sit out on the steps when it’s too stuffy inside. The sign above our door has faded a bit over the years, but everyone around here knows where we are. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a pen and a notebook are just easier. It gets dusty with all the trucks coming through, but that’s just part of the job. We keep it simple and just focus on getting the work done day by day. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and the cargo moving through the street.
