New Kartar Goods Carrier is tucked away in Palika Place, over at Panchkuian, near the Ramakrishna Mg. Being near the Delhi G P O means we are right in the thick of it. The office is at Ug-29, which isn't huge, but it serves us well enough for what we need to do. Dealing with goods in this part of Delhi is a bit of a challenge because the roads are always packed. You have to know the shortcuts and the timing or you'll get stuck for hours. We mostly focus on getting things moved around the city and sometimes further out. It’s a family-run kind of setup. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a polished reception area. Usually, there’s just someone sitting behind the desk with a ledger and a cup of tea. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the way we handle the cargo stays pretty much the same. It involves a lot of coordination with the drivers and the loaders who handle the heavy lifting. Sometimes things go smoothly, and sometimes there are delays we can't do anything about. We try to be straight with people about when their items will arrive. The noise from the main road is constant, but you get used to it after a few weeks. It’s just how life is working in a central spot like Panchkuian. We keep our heads down and work.
