Shamsad Painter

I am located over by the Pilkhauwa Post Office on Shamshad Road. It’s in the Panchshil Nagar area, quite close to Shafi Ki Mahjid. People around here know where to find me because I’ve been in this spot for a while. My days usually start early before the sun gets too high. I carry my buckets and rollers to whatever house I’m working on that week. The road can be a bit dusty, but it’s a good neighborhood with friendly faces. I don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It’s mostly just me doing the work with my own hands. I keep my supplies organized as best as I can, though things always get a bit messy when a big job starts. Being near the mosque means I hear the call to prayer throughout the day, which gives a nice rhythm to the work. I’ve painted many of the houses on this street and the ones nearby. I don't use any fancy machines, just brushes and a steady hand. Sometimes people stop by the post office and then come over to ask about a price for their kitchen or a fence. I just tell them honestly what it will take in terms of time and materials. It’s a quiet life, mostly spent on a ladder or scraping old paint off a wall to prepare for the new layer.
