Naushad Painter Decorator is based in Bharat Nagar Khora Colony. If you know this colony, you know it gets pretty busy and dusty around here. We have all our ladders, brushes, and old paint cans stored in our space. It is not a showroom or anything, just a practical place where we keep our gear together. Every morning starts with me checking the brushes to make sure they were cleaned properly the night before. We have different types of rollers for all kinds of walls. Being in Bharat Nagar means we are close to where a lot of the work is. The walls in this area always seem to need a bit of a touch-up because of the weather and the dust. We spend most of our time out at different houses, but this is where we come back to when the day is over. The smell of paint is pretty much stuck to our clothes all the time. It is honest work, just getting the colors right and making sure the edges are straight for people. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to paint, like when it is too humid, so we just sit in the shop and wait it out. We talk about the next job while we mix the colors. It is a small operation, just a few of us who know how to handle a brush. We do not do anything too fancy, just solid painting for the neighborhood.
