Adaah De Look

Our shop, Adaah De Look, is located over at R-6, Sector 12 in Pratap Vihar. It’s a recognizable spot for anyone who lives around Vijay Nagar. We’ve been operating out of this space for a while, and it’s become our second home. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s a working shop where clothes are the main focus. We have mirrors on the walls and racks of different outfits that we’ve picked out. Some days the floor needs a good sweep and the lighting isn't perfect, but we focus on the stuff that matters to the people walking in. We don’t go in for big sales pitches or fancy talk. We just show people what we have and let them decide. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the local festivals start and everyone needs something new to wear. Then it gets really hectic and we’re all running around trying to help. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real community. We know the people who live in the apartments nearby and we see the same faces every week. It’s a simple business. We buy things, we display them, and we hope people like them enough to take them home. There isn't much more to it than that, and we’re fine with it. It’s just a local shop doing its thing in the neighborhood.
