Sabrang Boutique

Our shop is located at E-10/3 in the G.D.A. Market over in Sector 11, Pratap Vihar. It’s a decent little spot in the market, though it can get pretty crowded on the weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping. We spend most of our time here surrounded by different fabrics and patterns. The boutique isn't very big, so we have to be careful not to trip over the boxes of zippers and buttons that seem to pile up in the corners. We do a lot of local tailoring for the folks living in Pratap Vihar. Some days the sewing machines work perfectly, and other days they decide to be difficult, which can be frustrating when we have a deadline. We don't have any fancy marketing strategies; we just try to make sure the clothes fit right before the customer walks out. Sometimes people bring in old clothes that they want us to change into something new, which can be a bit of a puzzle. The lighting in the back of the shop isn't the best, so we do most of the detailed work near the front window where there’s more sun. It’s a modest place and we don't try to make it look like something it’s not. We’re just here in the G.D.A. Market, doing our work and dealing with the usual daily stuff like everyone else. It is a bit tiring some days, but we like being part of the neighborhood.
