Rashmi Electricals

We have been running Rashmi Electricals from this spot on Sihani Nandgram Road for a good number of years now. If you are looking for us, we are located at Khasra No. 523, right near Sb Palace. It’s not a huge, fancy showroom like the ones you see in the main city markets, but it serves us well enough. Most of the day is spent handling rolls of wire, light fixtures, and various switches. My cousin and I mostly run the place, and it can get quite cluttered with boxes when a new shipment arrives. The road outside is usually pretty busy with rickshaws and people heading towards Nandgram. Sometimes the dust from the street gets inside, so we are constantly wiping down the counters. We don't have a big mission statement or any corporate goals; we just want to make sure people in the neighborhood can get their electrical supplies without a fuss. If a customer comes in with a broken part, we try our best to find a match. Sometimes we have to dig through the back room for a while to find the right fuse or socket. We know the local electricians who stop by every morning for their supplies. It’s a simple life and the work is steady. We don’t bother with much advertising because word of mouth in this area seems to work just fine. We just open the shutters early and stay until the evening rush dies down. It's just a regular shop doing regular work for local people.
