Rampal Sharma

The shop is just me, Rampal Sharma, and I’ve been sitting here in Hapur Kastala Kasmabad for more years than I can really count right now. It is a small place on a dusty road, and we do not have any of those big bright signs that you see in the city centers. Most of the people who come here are just neighbors or people from the next village over who heard about us from someone else they know. We don't really have a set schedule sometimes, we just open up when the sun starts getting high and stay until the work is done for the day. It’s not a fancy life, but it keeps the food on the table and the house running. I handle most of the things myself, though my nephew comes by to help when his school is closed or during the harvest time when everyone is busy. We have a few old chairs for people to sit on while they wait, and the tea is usually hot if the stove is going. There isn't any big mission or some plan to become a huge company. We just do the work that needs doing today and hope that tomorrow is just as steady. Hapur is a quiet place if you stay away from the main roads, and that’s how we like it here. It is just a simple business for simple needs. We aren't doing anything special, just helping out where we can.
