Ghaziabad is a busy place, and Raj Nagar is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. That’s where Ramesh Kumar Kaushik is based. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can get on the main roads, but once you get into the lanes of Raj Nagar, it feels a bit more like a neighborhood. Our setup is pretty basic. We don’t have any flashy displays or a big lobby. It’s just a workspace where we get things done every day. We’ve been here long enough to see the buildings around us grow taller and the shops change hands many times. We tend to stick to our routine, starting the day with a cup of tea and checking what’s on the list for the morning. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby or have heard about us from their friends. We don't do much in the way of marketing because we’re usually too busy with the actual work. The office can get a bit cluttered with papers and files, but we know where everything is. It’s a very hands-on way of running a business. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is just part of living in Ghaziabad, so we just wait it out or move our work outside where there’s a bit more light. It’s not a perfect system, but it has worked for us for years and we don’t see a reason to change it now.
