Shri Gautam Furniture is tucked away at Office-10 in the Ramanuj Dayal Market on Ramte Ram Road. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s always packed with shoppers and vendors, so it can be a bit overwhelming. Our shop is filled to the ceiling with chairs, tables, and cabinets. There’s a constant smell of sawdust and wood varnish in the air, which we’ve grown to like over the years. We don't have a big, shiny showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have a practical space where you can actually see the wood and feel the weight of the pieces. We aren't interested in being a big chain. We just want to provide solid, reliable furniture to the people in the neighborhood. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting at a small desk near the front, ready to chat about what you’re looking for. We don't have a fancy catalog; we mostly just show people what we have in stock or talk about what can be made. Sometimes a delivery takes a bit longer than expected because the traffic on Ramte Ram Road is so heavy, but we always get there eventually. It’s a small, family-style business that has been around for a while. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics. We just show you what we have and let the way the items are built speak for itself. It’s about making things that last for years and fit into a normal home.
