Ram Singh Chauhan

My name is Ram Singh Chauhan and you can find me over in Ghazipur. Specifically, I’m on the Main Road near the Shiv Charan Dharam Kanta. It’s the B 25 spot near the Gazipur Dairy Farm. If you know the area, you know it smells like the farm and there are trucks moving in and out all day long. It’s a heavy industrial kind of place. I’ve been working here for years and I’ve gotten used to the dust and the sound of the heavy engines. My space is right in the middle of all that chaos. I don't have a fancy office with air conditioning that works all the time. Usually, I just leave the door open to get some air, even if it’s a bit noisy. The Dharam Kanta is a good landmark because everyone knows where the big scales are. I handle my work day by day. Some days are slow and I just sit and watch the trucks go by. Other days, I don’t even have time to eat lunch because there is so much to do. I’m not trying to be the biggest business in Ghazipur. I just want to do my part and get home at a decent hour. It’s a rough neighborhood but the people are hard workers. That’s the kind of environment I like. It keeps you grounded when things get busy.
