Raju Hair Cutting

Raju Hair Cutting is my small shop in Khora Colony. I am located in Gali No. 14, and if you find the church nearby, you are basically there. Ghaziabad is always crowded and busy, and Khora is no different. My shop is just a simple place with a few barber chairs and big mirrors. I spend most of my day standing here with a pair of scissors and a comb. There are always people walking by the door, and sometimes they just pop their head in to say hello. The church brings a lot of people to this street on Sundays, so that's usually my busiest time. I don't have a big team of people working for me. It’s just me and maybe one other person when it gets really packed. We do hair cuts and shaves for the men who live around here. The walls have some old posters on them, and the radio is usually playing some local stations. It gets quite hot in the summer, but the ceiling fan keeps us going. I’ve been in this spot for a long time, and I know most of the faces that come in. Khora Colony is a tough place but the people are good. We don't try to be anything fancy. It's just a haircutting shop where you can sit and talk for a bit. The floor gets covered in hair quickly, but I sweep it up whenever I get a chance.
