Pooja Boutique

We are over at Pooja Boutique in Raj Nagar at E 330 in Sector 23. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main markets, which is nice for us. The boutique is where we do all our cutting and sewing. It’s full of fabric rolls, different colored threads, and half-finished suits hanging on the racks. It’s not a big fancy showroom with bright lights and models; it’s more of a local tailoring spot where we work directly with the cloth. Most of our customers are women from the surrounding houses who bring in their own fabric or look at what we have in stock. We spend a lot of time measuring and marking things out with chalk. It can get a bit messy with scraps of fabric on the floor, but we try to keep it organized. We don't really do the whole social media thing or have big sales events. We just focus on making sure the clothes fit right and the stitching is solid. Sometimes a customer is picky about the neck design or the embroidery, and we just work through it until they are happy. It’s slow work compared to the ready-made shops, but it’s what we enjoy. We’ve been in this part of Raj Nagar for a good while now, and we’ve become a regular stop for many families around here. It’s just us and our sewing machines every single day.
