I’ve been over here at the Ghaziabad Civil Court for a good while now. Number 487 in the compound is where you’ll usually find me. It gets pretty crowded around here during the morning hours, especially with everyone rushing to their hearings or trying to get paperwork sorted out. This place has a certain rhythm to it that you only get used to after spending years inside the gates. Most days are just about handling the files and making sure things are where they need to be. It’s not a fancy setup, just a desk and some chairs in a busy part of the legal area. People come by when they have matters to attend to at the court. Sometimes the noise from the hallway is quite a bit, but that’s just how it goes in a court compound. I know the local vendors and the other folks working in the nearby offices. It’s a community of its own. When you’ve been in one spot this long, you see a lot of people passing through. I don't really have a big staff or anything like that. It's just me mostly, keeping track of the daily grind and the paperwork that piles up. If you are walking through the compound, you’ll see the number on the door. It’s a straightforward kind of life here, focused on the work at hand and getting through the list of tasks before the day ends. I usually start early before the heat gets too bad.
