Pradeep Singh

I am Pradeep Singh and I run my operations out of a basement in Block 17 of Kirti Nagar. If you know this area, you know it's the heart of the furniture market. It’s a busy, noisy place where there is always the sound of hammers or the smell of wood polish in the air. Being in the basement means we don't get much natural light, so we have these bright tubelights that stay on all day long. It's a bit of a maze down here with all the different blocks and units, but we’ve been in this specific spot long enough that most of the regulars know exactly where the stairs are. My workspace is pretty crowded with materials and old ledgers, but I know where everything is kept. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to for a fancy tour. We just focus on the orders we have. Usually, I’m here from nine in the morning until late in the evening. Kirti Nagar is a tough place to work sometimes because of the traffic and the constant movement of trucks, but it's where the business is. I don't bother with fancy signs or expensive furniture for myself. I use an old wooden desk that has been with me since I started. It’s a simple life, and I prefer it that way. Most people who find us do so through word of mouth, which suits me just fine.
