Platinum Steels LLP is right in the middle of the Site 4 Industrial Area in Sahibabad. Our address is A 40/2/2, and it is exactly what you would expect from an industrial zone. There is always the sound of machinery and the smell of metal in the air. We spend our days handling steel orders and managing the warehouse. It is a loud and busy place, especially when the big lorries come in to load or unload materials. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and dust, but that is the reality of working with steel. We have a small office section where we handle the invoices and the phone calls, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It gets incredibly hot in there during the summer months, so we keep the fans running all day long. We aren't a big corporation with polished floors and suits. We wear our work clothes and we aren't afraid to get our hands dirty. The people working here have been around for a long time and they know the steel business inside and out. We take our breaks together and talk about the day's work. It is a tough environment, but it is honest and it keeps us moving.
