Patel Roadways

Our branch of Patel Roadways is situated right on the Delhi Meerut Road, specifically in Sector 15 A, 17/6. Being on such a major road means we never really get any peace and quiet. There is a constant hum of traffic from the highway that you start to ignore after a while. The building we are in is pretty basic. We spend most of our time coordinating with the different routes heading north or south. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking the logs to see who is where. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to do everything by hand, which slows us down. The staff here has been together for a bit, so we know how to work around each other without getting in the way. We keep a big water cooler near the door because it gets incredibly dry and dusty outside. The trucks park along the side road when they are waiting for their turn. It’s not the most scenic place, just concrete and asphalt. We don't have a big sign, just a small one that people sometimes miss if they are driving too fast. Most of the work is just keeping track of things and making sure the drivers have what they need before they head back out onto the highway. It’s a lot of routine, day in and day out, but it keeps us busy and the goods get where they belong eventually.
