Om Sai Pan Palace

Om Sai Pan Palace is right here in the Mini Market at Laxmi Bai Nagar. We take up Shops 3, 4, and 5, which gives us a bit more room than some of the other stalls around here. Being near Delhi Haat means we see a lot of visitors, but most of our steady people are locals from Lakshmibai Nagar. We’ve been here for a long time, and the shop has become a bit of a landmark for people in the market. It’s a simple setup with our counters and the jars of ingredients we use every day. We spend a lot of time preparing the leaves and the different mixtures. It’s a lot of detail work that people don't always see. The market can get really crowded, especially on holidays or weekends, and our shop usually has people standing around chatting. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a few fans to keep the air moving. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the shops around us playing music or people calling out. We just focus on our work and making sure the shop stays clean. We aren't trying to be anything more than a local pan shop. We know what our customers like and we try to have it ready for them. It’s a busy life in the Mini Market, but we enjoy being right in the middle of all the action. We’ll be here as long as the market stays open.
