Our business is Natraj Fabricators Pvt Ltd and we are over in Rajender Nagar, Sahibabad, at S 66 in the Industrial Area. Fabrication is what we do. We take metal and we turn it into whatever the drawings say. It involves a lot of cutting, welding, and grinding. If you come by S 66, you'll hear the sound of metal hitting metal before you even see the sign. The workshop is usually full of sparks and the smell of hot iron. We aren't a big corporate office with a lobby. It's just a gate that leads into the fabrication floor. We’ve got some heavy lifting equipment and a few workstations where the guys spend their day. Most of us have been working with these tools since we were young. We don't talk much during the shift because it's too loud anyway. We just follow the plans and make sure the joints are strong. Being in the Sahibabad industrial zone is practical because we are close to our suppliers. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big structure that's taking up too much room on the floor. It’s a dirty job but we like seeing a finished piece of work ready for the customer. We just stick to the fabrication and keep our heads down. Every piece of metal that leaves the gate has been worked on by someone who actually knows what they're doing.
