Nanu Gents Saloon

Nanu Gents Saloon is right here at 1/35, Main Road in Vaishali Sector 2. If you know the Kamna area, you know how busy this street gets throughout the day. We have been working out of this spot in Ghaziabad for a good bit now. It is just a regular shop with a few chairs and big mirrors on the wall. The ceiling fan stays on most of the day because it gets quite warm when there are four or five people waiting inside. You can hear the traffic outside all the time, especially the horns from the main road. We keep a pile of old newspapers on the small table for anyone waiting their turn. Most of the guys who come in live just around the corner or work in the nearby shops. The floor usually has hair on it because we are always busy clipping or trimming, but someone grabs the broom every once in a while to clear a path. We use the standard blue spray bottles for water and the usual combs you see everywhere. There isn't anything fancy about the place, just the smell of talcum powder and shaving cream hanging in the air. Sometimes the radio is playing some old songs, and other times we just talk about what is happening in the neighborhood. It is a simple setup for local men who just need to get their hair sorted out before heading home.
