Colours N Cuts

Over at C- 33 in Model Town West, things are usually moving pretty quick. It’s a local spot, so we see a lot of the same faces coming in from the neighborhood. We’ve got the shop set up so there’s enough room to work without bumping into each other too much. The mirrors are old, and the chairs have been through a lot, but they’re still sturdy. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people just know we’re here because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. The morning is usually the quietest time, so that’s when we clean up and get the tools ready. By the afternoon, it gets a lot louder with people talking and the sound of the equipment running. It’s a friendly place, but we’re not here to chat all day; we have work to do. Sometimes the floor gets covered in scraps, and we have to sweep every twenty minutes. It’s just a part of the job. We like the vibe in Model Town West. It feels like a real community where people actually know each other's names. We stay open late most nights because that’s when people finish their own jobs and have time to stop by. It’s a decent way to make a living, and we’re glad to be a part of the street. There is always something going on here, whether it is raining outside or the sun is beating down on the pavement outside.
