Manish Singh

We’re situated at number 68 on Railway Road in the Ramganj area of Hapur. Being so close to the station means there is always the sound of trains in the distance and a lot of people moving around outside. Manish Singh set up the business here because it’s easy for people to find us once they get off the train. The road is always busy with rickshaws and carts, so it can be quite loud during the day. Our office is a simple room with a couple of tables and some chairs that have seen better days. We don't have any air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it’s on high. It’s a very basic setup, but it’s all we really need to get the job done. We spend our days dealing with various bits of business that come our way. Manish is often out and about meeting people, but someone is usually here to answer the door. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big fancy storefront or neon signs. We just focus on getting the tasks finished. Sometimes the electricity flickers when a big storm comes through Hapur, and we just light a few candles and keep talking until it comes back. It’s a humble way to work, but it suits us just fine. We know the shopkeepers nearby and we all look out for each other. It’s a tight-knit community here on Railway Road and we like it.
