Liza Confectioneries

Liza Confectioneries is located at B-13/103 in Shalimar Garden, specifically Ext-2. It’s a nice enough area, though it gets pretty crowded on the weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping. We spend a lot of our time around sugar and flour, as you can probably guess. The air inside usually smells like whatever we were baking or mixing that morning. It’s a small operation, and we don’t have a huge staff. It is mostly just a few of us wearing aprons and making sure the boxes are packed right. The space is a bit tight because we have to store all the ingredients and the finished goods in the same general area. We try to keep it organized, but when a big shipment comes in, things get a bit messy for a day or two. It’s not a high-tech factory; it’s more of a hands-on kind of place. We have a regular routine that starts pretty early in the morning. Sometimes we sit out front for a few minutes just to watch the people in Shalimar Garden go by. It’s a quiet life in some ways, but there is always something to do, whether it’s cleaning the trays or checking the inventory. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just make the sweets and hope the people who buy them are satisfied. It’s what we know how to do, so we just keep at it.
