Lata Beauty Parlour

Lata Beauty Parlour is located in Inder Garhi, Ghaziabad, right along Hopur Road. It’s a busy part of town and there is always something going on outside. I opened this place because I wanted a small spot of my own to work. The room is not very large, but I have everything I need, like the mirrors, the stools, and my trolley of supplies. I do a lot of bridal work during the wedding season, which means some days I am working from very early until quite late at night. During the rest of the year, it is mostly just regular stuff like cutting hair or doing simple facials. The girls from the local colony come here a lot. We sit and talk while I work on their hair. It feels more like a house than a shop sometimes. I use simple products that I know work well. The mirrors have a few smudges sometimes because I am always busy, but I try to keep it as neat as I can. There is a small bench for people to wait on, and I keep some old magazines there, though most people just look at their phones now. When the traffic on Hopur Road starts to slow down in the evening, I know it is time to start closing up. I wash out the bowls and fold the capes, then I head home to get some rest for the next morning.
